Rhinowash is a family run company that provides power washers throughout the UK. For over four decades, they have developed and engineered equipment to work in though environments and overcome demanding challenges.
To expand their current offering and reach new customer, I was tasked with helping them develop a new ecommerce website which would allow them to them to begin selling their products to customers in the UK and globally.
To start the process, I was involved with and led a number or workshops with the client to improve our understanding of the proposed site, this also included running a design workshop to create some initial wirefames with the clients help, which were then used to inform our wireframes.
Over the course of the workshops it also became clearer how Rhinowash intended to use the site as a showcase of their products, rather that sell directly, with the ultimate goal of prospective customers contacting their sales team. Through this feedback, more emphasis was placed on the contact forms and they were made more prominent in key pages.
Once the clients were broadly happy with the proposed solution, the wireframes were expanded upon and the UI was added. I created a simple design system that would ease design and consistent brand, and built several prototypes that would allow the client to click through the designs and offer regular feedback as the designs were worked on.
